CalOSBA Funding Opportunities for Partners
CalOSBA administers funding opportunities for technical assistance providers across the state that provide business support services. CalOSBA administered programs can also be located through the California Grants Portal.
Technical Assistance Program
The Small Business Technical Assistance Program (TAP) was established in 2018 and provides annual funding of $23 million to technical assistance providers. Providers must be operating established technical assistance programs in the State of California to be eligible for funding.

Capital Infusion Program (CIP)
The Capital Infusion Program (CIP) is an ongoing annual program that funds $3M toward technical assistance services through the five California Small Business Development Center (SBDC) networks. Activities for this program are focused toward improving access to capital opportunities for small businesses. This program is only open for applications from the five lead centers of the California SBDC Networks.

Technical Assistance for Capital Readiness
The SSBCI Technical Assistance for Capital Readiness Program 2023: Capital Readiness Coaches’ (SSBCI TA Program) primary purpose is to help Socially and Economically Disadvantaged Individual (SEDI)-owned businesses, Very Small Businesses (VSBs), and Small Manufacturing Enterprises (SME) access and apply for capital funding from an SSBCI-supported program or other federal or other jurisdiction small business program.
