Foggy Bottoms Boys Farm is a 6th generation organic dairy farm located in the Eel River Valley on the Northern Coast of Humboldt County. Thomas and Cody Nicholson Stratton, farmers and owners, believe strongly in sourcing local and delivering fresh nutritionally packed foods. Foggy Bottoms Boys run and manage a ‘multi species regenerative demonstration farm’ producing beef, lamb, egg and cheese protein.

They have long partnered with Rumiano Cheese Co., one of the oldest establishments in California cheesemaking history, to provide their high-quality dairy. Foggy Bottoms Boys Jersey cows are non-GMO, organic, and certified humane spending all their days in the lush forest green pastures of Humboldt.

Imagine all those happy cows generously, humanely, and calmly delivering their milk to be gathered and whisked over the rainbow to Jersey Scoops Ice Cream and Specialty Desserts shop in Loleta. This expansion of their agricultural business provides a darling store front for this ‘cow to cone’ experience, as well as a place to retail goods made from high quality pasture fiber, also locally raised on the farm.

Thomas and Cody are engaged members of their local communities ensuring that locally sourced foods are available and that educational opportunities are available to students to demonstrate regenerative practices. These farm Dads are well known for supporting the LGBTQ+ community and unapologetically creating safe space within the agricultural landscape.
