Disclaimer
Dream Fund Training Opportunities are Closed.
The Dream Fund has seen incredible amounts of interest, and grants are awarded based on funding availability and eligibility. Due to an overwhelming amount of interest in the program, not all applicants that are eligible will receive funding at this time. Receiving a code, submitting an application and/or being fully validated does not guarantee an applicant will receive a grant award.
As of December 31, 2022, no additional Dream Fund training is being offered. Applicants that completed training and received an application code should apply at cadreamfund.com by February 13, 2023. The California Dream Fund is administered by the California Office of the Small Business Advocate (CalOSBA) through select centers of the Technical Assistance Expansion Program. The Dream Fund is only available through the centers listed on this website.

About the Program
The California Dream Fund was a one-time $35 million grant program to seed entrepreneurship and small business creation in the State of California. New entrepreneurs and small business owners would complete an intensive training program through select participating centers of the Technical Assistance Expansion Program (TAEP). Following successful completion of the training and consulting program, new businesses would become eligible to apply for a microgrant of up to $10,000.
Participants who have completed eligible training programs and have been issued a certificate of completion from their technical assistance (TA) center should work with their TA center to complete a Dream Fund grant application through Lendistry at https://cadreamfund.com/. Please note that grants are subject to availability of funds and compliance with all eligibility requirements.
Participants who have completed their Dream Fund grant application and have questions specific to the grant funds or the Lendistry application portal should contact the Lendistry Call Center:
888-585-7361 | Call center hours: Monday – Friday 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. PST
Closed on all Federal holidays.
